Benjamin Mark Kite is a 30-year old welterweight pro boxer out of Brisbane, Queensland. Nicknamed “Banging”, he owns a 17-4-1 record on his 6-year professional boxing career, which gave him 3 championship belts so far.

Despite starting as a pro with two early losses in 2014, Ben found success in the following years, winning his first state title against Mark Ramirez in March 2016. He also won the title defense against Luke Travers in August of that year which earned him a spot at the WBC-ABC Welterweight Championship bout in New Delhi India against Neeraj Goyat. He lost the match via unanimous decision but that was his last defeat to date. He raked in a series of wins after that.

Ben’s collection of titles include the state, national, WBF Asia Pacific, and the ANBF Australasian welterweight titles; the latter two of which he successfully defended twice in 2019. These wins are also part of his current 12-bout winning streak that dates back to March in 2017. His most recent win was against Tysinn Best for the national welterweight title.
