Only 25 years old, Ben Mahoney is already an international pro boxing champion. He holds an unbeaten record of 9-0 with 5 wins via way of knockout in his young 4-year career. Ben fights with an orthodox stance in the super welterweight division.
A native of Coomera QLD, Ben debuted as a pro in February 2016 with a KO win over Luke Travers. He won 7 consecutive matches afterwards, including a KO victory against Fano Kori in April 2019 and a TKO win against Rahul Kumar of India in July 2019. He earned all these victories on his way to an IBO Asia Pacific Super Welterweight championship match in November 2019.
Ben performed amazingly during his first title bout. He defeated John Ruba from Indonesia via TKO and took home the championship belt. The match ended after Ruba suffered a deep cut at the end of 2nd round.
