Jai “El Fuego” Alexander is an Australian pro boxer from Mornington, Victoria who is currently holding the WBF Australasian Featherweight Title, the ANBF Australasian Featherweight Title, IBO-AP Featherweight Title. He holds an unbeaten 12-0 record, 6 wins by knock-out.
Alexander made his pro debut on November 30, 2012, with an impressive KO win. After getting another victory in March 2013, he went on a 4-year hiatus then made a comeback in May 2017. Since then, Jai has never looked back. He won 7 consecutive bouts, leading him to his first championship match in April 2019 against Krishnil Mudaliar from Fiji. Jai won by a split decision and took home the vacant WBF Australasian belt.
In September of the same year, got another championship bout, this time for the vacant ANBF Australasian title. He outlasted Masing Warawara from Vanuatu and took home the belt by another split decision. Then, just last March 2020, Jai bagged his third title within a year when he won the vacant IBO-AP belt against the Filipino boxer Presco Carcosia.
