Luke ‘Action’ Jackson is a pro boxer born on January 1, 1985 and raised in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. An ex-boxing scholar of the Australian Institute of Sports, he had an outstanding amateur record of 113-32. He was a bronze medal-winner at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, before becoming pro in May 2013.
His long stay in amateur while others had turned professional, was bound by his belief that "To win an Olympic gold medal is harder than any professional world title ever." Fighting in over 40 countries, Luke also acted as Captain for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and the 2012 London Olympics. He also won the WBA Oceania and WBO Oriental featherweight titles. At present, Luke holds a record of 19 wins 19 and 1 loss.
